8th October, 2005

Eleven years ago today a massive earthquake destroyed the Northern part of Pakistan.

Around one lac people died.

Around 30 lac people became homeless.

It was probably the blackest day in the history of Pakistan.

Sadly er’re still standing there even after eleven years.

We still couldn’t reconstruct homes for the victims.

We still couldn’t reconstruct the destroyed schools in Hazara.

We still couldn’t provide them food, clothes and shelter.

Who’s to blame?

Who’s going to reconstruct those schools?

Who’s going to provide these poor people with basic necessities?

So many questions go unanswered when it comes to situations like these.

Lets just take out some time to pray for the departed souls. May all of them rest in peace and may humanity awakens in all the humans.(Ameen)
